Calgary Caper, a Marette Farrell purchase for late owner Cecil Peacock, was a recent well-deserving winner of the BC Premier’s Handicap G3. Here’s what Marette had to say about the emotional win:

“It was a very nostalgic moment when Calgary Caper crossed the line in the BC Premier’s Handicap G3. First of all, it was the last horse I bought for the late Cecil Peacock who was a tower of a man. I still miss our amazing conversations and loved that melodic voice of his. Secondly, the co breeder Mary Harris was a dear friend and confidente. No doubt you two have had engaging encounters and were whooping it up when this boy made us all so proud. Very well done trainer Phil Hall, you have done Trojan work with this horse. Onward! The dream is real.”
