In another successful weekend of action for Marette Farrell, Smooth Roller, a four-year-old son of Hard Spun whose mating Marette planned, won the Grade I Awesome Again at Santa Anita. Smooth Roller was bred by a long time client and friend of Marette’s, John Cummins. Congratulations John!
In other news, Marette was delighted for owner John Behrendt when Britannia’s Moat, by English Channel, broke his maiden on the Grass at Belmont Park for trainer David Donk.
