Marette also has news on Halo Bull by Southdale (out of Blue Queen by Holy Bull) who came 3rd in the G1 Clasico Palla de Potrillos in Peru.
“I bought the dam Blue Queen as a yearling for Boris Schwartzman and it is awesome to now see her produce a G1 horse (and she is only 8 years old). Boris loved the pedigree as it traces to two Irish Derby winners that are brothers, Ribocco and Ribero. He in turn sold Halo Bull as a yearling to Stud Jotave. Congratulations to trainer Eduardo Pianezzi and especially to Boris farm Haras Barlovento which is a great source of top racehorses in Peru. As an aside my friends Rod and Margaret Ferguson from Canada bred and raced Halo Bulls sire Southdale. He has a full sister by Street Cry selling this September at Keeneland.”
